Andy Murray has undergone a second hip operation, according to an Amazon Prime documentary released on Tuesday. The former world number one had a hip resurfacing procedure in January 2019, but the documentary reveals that he had a second operation a year later to replace the metal implant.

Murray has been open about his struggles with hip pain in recent years, and the documentary shows him undergoing a rigorous rehabilitation program following his second operation. He is now back playing tennis and is ranked 116th in the world.

In the documentary, Murray says that he is "at his highest ranking since the operation" and that he is "feeling good" about his tennis.
