Final Inflation Figures From Germany and Italy Due on Friday

Final inflation data from Germany and Italy are the major economic reports due on Friday, headlining a light day for the global economic calendar.
Germany
At 2:00 am ET, Destatis releases Germany's final consumer and harmonized prices for April. The consumer price index is expected to rise 7.4% year-over-year following a 7.3% increase in March. The harmonized index of consumer prices, or HICP, is seen climbing 7.8% after a 7.6% increase in the previous month.
Italy
At 2:30 am ET, Istat releases Italy's final consumer price data for April. The consumer price index is expected to advance 6.2% annually following a 6.5% increase in March. The core CPI, which excludes energy and fresh food, is forecast to rise 1.9% after a 1.5% increase in the previous month.
